I´ve been making tiles for the floor in the diningroom. Cut out of painted paper for water coloring and glued on to wallpaper... It´s not finished yet as you can see, but I´ve put it in the room with some of the furnitures to get a sense of the result. Am I satisfied? Hmm...don´t now yet.
Then I´ve patinatede the frontdor and a few windows. I like the look of it, so now I just have to do all windows on the the front. Still need some facadepainting too...´
Promised Susanne a picture of the inside of the house. As you can see it´s a clutter, but I´ve put some things in every room to see if that´s the way it´s going to be placed one day.
Bottom floor: Kitchen, hall and maybe an erotic/lingeri store
First floor: Diningroom and salon/lounge
Second floor: Bedroom and a luxurious bathroom
Third floor: The alchemy room where the lovepotin and massage oils are made, a sewing room where corset and other lingeri items are sewn and then a study/library.
I had mail today from Susanne... Thank you, thank you, thank you so much Susanne...
I am totally overwhelmed by the gifts she send me. Every tiny thing is a treasure that I´ll love to make small tableaus with as my dollhouse progresses. Allthough I have to admit that one thing is just a bit more treasured than others... and that´s the skull. I have to give him an honered place in the diningroom... and maybe find a name for him.

Some days ago I recieved a wonderful present from Susanne. Lots of tiny gifts in beautiful christmas paper. You will probably be introduced to more of the items later, but this time I´ll show, what I did with the patinated "bowl" you can see on the table.

I´ve finally got a result which I´m satified with. But the stairs aren´t attaced yet, I may change the color a bit. I´ve glued on the flooring paper and skirting boards. I still need some finishing details like a new hatstand, a coat, some shoes, an umbrella, a leather suitcase, some tiny letters, keys and other necessities for the tray, pictures, doorhandles, lightning ... and... and.... and...

I´ve made a decision to go for the painted floor... I actually like the color. Yesterday I painted the furniture black, found a few stuff to put in the room to get a sense of the final look. Today I transformed the color of the vase. It used to be white, now it´s dusty green with a touch of black and gold wash...
I simply has no idea about color or look for the walls yet. Just that I don´t want a floral or romantik look. Maybe a grey wash... what do you think?

Found this absolutely fabulous german artist who makes the most beautiful miniature animals. I would love to have a raven like this in Obsidian Hall.
The raven is a magic bird to which I have a strong connection. As a believer of the old norse religion and of Odin, the raven has a special meaning to me. I used to have a tipi-company with my husband called "Ravens Nest"...

I´ve been painting floortiles on wallpaper. Though I´m satified with the color which is greenish/beige with a with wash, I´m unsure about the look. It looks painted and not like single tiles put together. I havn´t decided what to do with the walls and stairs may be repainted. Please tell med what you think...
